Salvation
Almost from the beginning of creation, humans have been disobedient towards God's Holy and sovereign will. Because this sinful nature cannot be in the presence of a Holy God, God cast Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden and into a sin filled world. It is for this reason that no human can approach our Holy God and creator.
However, through God's grace, we, as sinful humans, have a way of restoring our relationship with our creator. Through the sacrifice of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, everyone, everywhere, has the opportunity to believe in what Christ did upon the cross for all humanity. Through His perfect, sinless life, and the shedding of His blood, Christ offered salvation to anyone who would simply believe in the works that He alone has accomplished.
By reading through the Holy words written below, we each can restore ourselves to a righteous relationship with our God. Please prayerfully consider using your own Bible and taking these life changing steps of faith.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God"
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"
John 3:3 "Jesus replied, "very truly I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again."
John 14:6 "Jesus answered, I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."
Romans 10:9-10 "If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess your faith and are saved."
2nd Corinthians 5:15 "And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."
Romans 5:1-8 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Revelation 3:20 "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."
Once you have read these passages, and fully understand and believe in your heart that Christ paid the price for your salvation, then I encourage you to pray a simple prayer in your own words. It doesn't have to eloquent or long. It just need to be honest and between you and your Savior. Simply ask Him to come into your heart and life while forgiving you of your sins for all eternity. That's it. It's that easy. It's a free gift that will eternally provide a way for you to communicate, grow and live a life free from the penalty of sin.
Once you have earnestly read these passages and prayed that short prayer, I would encourage you to get connected to a church body who can help you learn and grow even more. Welcome to the Family of God and may you be eternally blessed by His love.
