Pastor Bob Davalt was born in Oakland, California in January of 1964. During his father’s military career he traveled extensively throughout the world. When his father retired from the Navy in 1978 he settled into the little town of Turlock, California where most of his extended family lived during that time. He began attending youth group at Calvary Baptist Church shortly after moving there. Each summer he enjoyed participating in back packing in Yosemite National Park, attending summer camp at Hume Lake Christian camps and being highly involved in the church ministries. He accepted Christ as his savior during the summer of 1978.

            It was during this time that Pastor Bob also met his future wife. Bob & Dena met at Hume Lake and become close friends despite the fact that they lived 125 miles apart. In the summer of 1982 after graduating from high school, Bob would move to Napa California to be with Dena. They were married four months later in Reno Nevada. Soon after getting married, Bob & Dena would receive notice that they were expecting their first son Derrick James. Jason Matthew, and Michael Dean would also bless their lives in subsequent years. By the age of 22, Bob & Dena were the parents of 3 amazing boys that were the love of their lives.

            In 1990 after a lot of thought and prayer, Pastor Bob started a small automotive model making business to spend more time with his family. For 14 years he grew that small business and relocated it to Owosso Michigan to be closer to the automotive industries. While there he became highly involved with the youth ministry. In 1999 Pastor Bob made the decision to return to collage to receive his degree in youth ministry. Over the next several years Bob & Dena would downsize their small business eventually closing the doors in 2004 and entering full time vocational ministry in 2007.

            Pastor Bob received his BS in Youth Ministry in May of 2007. He also started his first full time vocational ministry in Hackensack New Jersey in January of that same year. Through a series of trials, including the death of his brother, Pastor Bob began ministering to youth throughout the east coast region. He relocated to Springfield Pennsylvania in March of 2008 while continuing to serve youth along the east coast region. He became licensed by the American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware in September of 2011. He went on to complete his MS. of Bible at Cairn University and was ordained by the ABCOPAD in May of 2013.

            Today he lives and serves Parker Ford Baptist Church as their Senior Pastor. While he no longer works directly with youth, his deep desire to disciple other adults with the tenants of is Christian faith has brought new life and vision to the over all church body. As all three boys have all joined the military and grown into young men, Pastor Bob & Dena have also become foster parents to Richy Java who was once one of his youth ministry students . Pastor Bob now has four grandchildren and hundreds of local youth who know him simply as P-Bob. Through numerous outreach programs, service in local community clubs and involvement in school activities, Pastor Bob Davalt continues to impact men and women of all ages with the love of Christ in a deep and personal way.
